Paul G. Scott Named 45th Fellow of TMS
The Masonry Society has elected Paul G. Scott as its 45th Fellow Member, honoring his 30 years of dedicated service, leadership, and technical contributions to the Society and the masonry profession.

Paul G. Scott has been an active member of TMS for 30 years, contributing leadership and technical expertise to the Society and the profession. He co-founded Caruso Turley Scott, Arizona’s largest structural engineering firm, and later established Scott Structural Engineering. His design work includes one of the tallest post-tensioned masonry buildings in the United States.
Within TMS, Paul has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors, several terms as Chair of the Technical Activities Committee, and as an active member of TMS 402/602 and related subcommittees. He has also contributed to the Disaster Investigation Team, BIMM, and the Executive Committee. His service has been recognized with the TMS Service Award (2017), the President’s Award (2023), and the Haller Structural Design Award (2022).
One of his nominators noted:
“Paul has consistently brought a practical engineering perspective to TMS discussions, strengthening our standards and resources with his deep experience. His leadership, collegiality, and commitment to masonry are widely respected, and his work has left a lasting mark on both the profession and the Society.”
Paul Scott will be formally recognized as a Fellow Member of The Masonry Society during the Awards Luncheon at the TMS Annual Meeting in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 16, 2025. Â He becomes the 45th Fellow of TMS, joining a distinguished group of individuals honored for their exceptional contributions to masonry.
