Supporting the Women in Masonry Fellowship
GivingTuesday is a global day dedicated to giving and community support, held each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. TMS is sharing this update to bring awareness to the day and to highlight one of the Society’s programs that advances participation within our community.Â
This year, TMS is featuring the Women in Masonry – Olene Bigelow Fellowship, created to strengthen the involvement of women in the Society. The Fellowship supports attendance at the TMS Annual Meeting, provides mentorship, and encourages continued engagement through joining a TMS committee. The program was named in 2025 in honor of Olene Bigelow, whose leadership and service left a meaningful impact on TMS and the masonry profession.

Our inaugural WIM Fellow, Samjhana Sharma, attended the 2025 Annual Meeting in Oklahoma City and will begin her committee engagement in the New Year. Her academic work in resilient masonry systems and her interest in professional involvement reflect the goals of the Fellowship.
Those who wish to support the WIM Fellowship program may contribute here.
The Masonry Society appreciates the support of members and friends who help strengthen participation and opportunities within the masonry community.
